Thyme

Valor calls to valor in these new beginnings

We grow and reach and gather, hanging sprigs from the ceiling.

The air is bright with it, the scent and sight of courage,

Our souls are light with dreams that we move to accomplish.

My fingers pluck the leaves while yours play across my heartstrings

Now infusing wine and honey with all the best we bring

To your lips I lift the chalice filled with love and laughter,

Then, my lips where yours have touched, quaff the selfsame brew right after.

Wishes do come true, when our hands work together!

We have each found the other meant to share in our forever.

Now peace and luck and fortune will continue to root and prosper

And we will walk together into our fair-wrought future.
